Tell us about your debt and how has this affected you? e.g. anxiety levels, financial and accommodation stress:

First contact, text message, phone call November 2016. I dismissed as a telephone scam.
Contacted DHS in person.
2018 tax return stolen.
Contacted my accountant.
Greated MyGov account, Uploaded payslips, bank statements and a letter to complaints.

Request my payslips from DHS as my accountant needs them to complete a reconciliation.

Compliance Department could not give me a date to start the review.
So i said if you don’t start the review I will organise Media out the front of the local Centrelink office as the debt raised is more than the amount I received for the time in question.
I gave 5 days than i will proceed. It worked.

Review was done.
Was told one of my payers was entered twice.
New debt of $5,900.

I said you have 5 day to post out your formula, figures entered for the time in question.

I received ADEX Scheduler.

I made contact with Andrew Wilkie and Luke Hartsuyker office. MP
I said i am ready to be interviewed right now.

My accountant is in the process of completing a reconciliation. Then i will be forwarding to MP office.
It has consumed a large amount of my time, money, and travelled interstate to Darwin to collect my payslips as the local DHS denied my payslips.

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

I think the Australia Government DHS is committing fraud, threates, intimidation.

My working life has been 95% fulltime.
As an ex serviceman i feel that the leader of this country has betrayed me for allowing DHS to operate in this manner.
I feel like a have been deceived by the Australian Government DHS.

All debts I believe must show evidence of how the debt was calculated when a letter of debt is post out by the Australian Government Department of Human Services.
DHS reverses the onus of proving the debt.
DHS not responding to complaints uploaded.

The review process is still effecting me adversely.
DHS upload new payment summaries for the time in question which are different to my original ones.
Inconsistency with information supplied to my over the phone, Complaints, debt and compliance departments.
Who programmed the software, they should be held responsible for the problems.
Who gave them the contract.
DHS still trying to collect false debts.

It’s a type of matter that people start a class action over.
