I was sent a threatening letter, went to centerlink , they could not help sort out the problem,I had to ring up, after many attempts and after many hours of waiting,I was able to speak to a real person who was rude to me, accused me of FRAUD, really scared me and I was told that A sum of money would be deducted from any future payments, I was very scared and agreed to whatever the telephonist wanted . I was threatened with police action and I still do not understand what they were talking about. I am autistic and have enough day to day challenges without the government threatening me personally and accusing me of a criminal act is just too absurd! How can I defend myself from such bullies? Since the continuing deductions , and the online reporting every two weeks, I have not heard from them. Fortunately I have a good friend who helps me socially and financially, so that my anxiety and feeling like a criminal is not so bad, because I am not a criminal.
The present government is unable to govern properly, it looks after the rich and very rich at the expense of the poor. The rich have solicitors to fight back so the government leaves them alone, but they pick on the most vulnerable and poor in our society because this group does not have solicitors to fight for them,so we are easy targets for their politically motivated policies. This government led by Malcolm Turnbull is out of touch and driving our country into disastrous level of debt and instead of doing something about it,it picks on unions,the poor,the opposition but never themselves ! Mr Turnbull who came in with so much support but has lost most of it because by his being untrue to his beliefs , could regain some level of integrity by resigning immediately. The sort of time that has been spent on politically motivated royal commission and attacks on public servants is just PATHETIC ! And to characterise this government perfectly we have its spokesperson declaring that " ITS EVERY BODY'S RIGHT TO BE A BIGOT " ! Clearly this government is creating scapegoats to avoid scrutiny into their mismanagement and unconsciable expenditure by their ministers. Mr Turnbull ,hand in your resignation !
