Tell us about your debt and how has this affected you? e.g. anxiety levels, financial and accommodation stress:

I knew nothing about this debt until last night. I had to look it up in the app. No one told me I had already paid $1300 off the debt.
I could barely sleep, which is not good considering I have been diagnosed with Bipolar.

What happened was I fell ill and was detained in hospital for 2 weeks.
I was discharged at the end of October 2017. My ex then refused to give me my daughter back.

Straight away I got legal help. He applied for my payments and received $600.
From then on I had no idea that I had reclaim. I did so in December and again in Jan.

I have no idea why the debt is so high and it's making me extremely anxious about my future and my daughters future. I wont be able to get loans or anything.

Please know I have done nothing to deserve this kind of treatment.

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

The government has been helpful but they have made an error that needs to be fixed asap.
