Submitted a FOI request and received a full spreadsheet showing all the calculations. Turns out my 'under-reporting' matches exactly how much tax I was paying for that fortnight.
I was instructed by Centrelink to report 'what was put into my bank account' as my income. Unfortunately, this was face to face so I have no proof.
At this point I guess I have to pay.
How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:
I have been ran around for almost 12 months, given contradictory information (I have proof), blatantly lied to and hung up on.
I would not submit Hitler or Bin Laden to the hell that is dealing with Centrelink.
