Well I’m still paying off another debt because in dec 2016 they paid me twice and then told me may 2017 that I had been overpaid in dec and that I had to pay.
This was extremely stressful before tax time as I had a lot of bills to pay.
I am a 3rd year uni student and a single mother so this has raised my anxiety levels as I feel like it’s a common occurance.
This overpayment is because last year I moved house and told them my new address and how I had bought a house over the phone, i then get hit with a bill without any notice.
How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:
It’s terrible as they know it’s their mistakes and yet they get away with it.
