So I have already been on here to tell my story but I am back again! So annoyed now as Centrelink not now the right information I spoke to someone on 5th Jan and they said you get reassessed then appeal but no not what I got told yesterday that day in January. I thought I was appealing so gave them a statement it was going forward to appealing but no it didn't that what I found out yesterday the first person I phoned in am said that I did not appeal and gave them the code which didn't work. They where like it has to be reassessed then do a manual reassessment then appeal and no one before then told me that I needed my payslips. So called my ex employer to get payslips emailed so I received them then called centrelink to say got my payslips can I appeal NO have to upload them and before I appeal I have to do a manual reassessment. So they said call back today and then I would be able to do the manual reassessment. The next person on the phone said that when I spoke to the person earlier in January they had infact not put my appeal through but put my reassessment through without in fact MY PERMISSION. So the person on the phone said that it will take a few weeks for someone to contact me regarding the manual reassessment but infact when I was at lunch I got a phone call from Centrelink and they had done my manual reassessment and infact first of I had a debt of $1660 and now I have a debt of about $1800 WHAT THE HELL..... WHY OWE MORE MONEY
I feel the government isn't handling it well at all its turned into a BIG MESS.......
