Tell us about your debt and how has this affected you? e.g. anxiety levels, financial and accommodation stress:

I suffer from PTSD which has been exasserbated by the mistreatment of centrelink and the staff, this has also made my depression much worse.
We are living from month to month and are expected to pay back the money. In fact one of centrelinks lawyers suggested that my husband sell either a car ir some machinery to pay back the money, even though he needs tractors etc to be a primary producer and i need my car to drive the 50kms to do the food shopping, not to mention that he is only a 3rd share in the business and machinery with his parents.

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

They will lie to you and tell you you must pay back the $$ as it will work in your favour when in fact they use it against you.
The staff are rude and not trained in their jobs as they dont need to be. They are a law unto themselves, i say we get a class action going......
Dont trust anything they tell you, get legal advice and dont trust the AAT they are affiliated with each other.
