Tell us about your debt and how has this affected you? e.g. anxiety levels, financial and accommodation stress:

Me and My wife are going through the Hardship since almost an year now, reason my contract was ended abruptly and since then I am not in job.
I have recently received job.
Wife was also on maternity leave without any source of income with 2 Kids, once 1 year and second grade 6.
We have mortgage and credit cards, personal loan and we are getting threats from everyone and default notice where to get to normal plan and regularize the account.
On top of it when I claimed for Family Tax Benfits after proper calculation of me and wife's income for that year I received letter from Cnterlink that it is approved and we are elgible and we received the amount in 2 parts, after couple of months I received notification you need to pay back the whole amount as we have over paid.
As it is we are struggling with financial hardship and when I requested for NSW allowance I was told I am not eligible as my wife is earning too much.

This has increased so much stress level that kids are also impacted me and wife are almost everyday fight cry because we are unable to cope up with the whole financial situation.
We are staying paying to centerlink that was agreed with the Agency

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

We were expecting some support in the times of hardship after paying regular heavy taxes every year, I believe this is ridiculous and when I am trying to understand via call centre how was assessment done, after waiting long call drops off, went to Centrelink office in person the response we got "we don't do assessment you need to call" and its been round and round in circles and we one day get letter from the agency.
