Both people I have spoken to regarding this debt have been forced to admit I have received this debt in error but are powerless to do anything about it, they were forced into admitting it when it is CLEARLY listed in my records as payments stopping around the date my debt starts and then starting again at the end of my debt period, meaning I have been charged debt for a period where I was clearly and demonstrably not on Centrelink nor receiving any payments from Centrelink. All of this is very clear to the point that neither employee I spoke to at that time could even refute that it was a clear error in the way debts are being calculated, and yet despite this clear evidence of a glitch no one has the power to fix this until I put in the leg work and manually go through my bank statements from 2010-2011 (I am unable to obtain payslips).
Honestly the people I spoke with were very helpful and are also victims of this debacle.
