I got the debt because my ex husband misrepresented his income so I supposedly got more child support than they thought however he doesn't pay child support and they aren't doing anything. The anxiety of knowing I have this debt and that it wasn't my fault is frustrating and annoying plus means i can't do my tax or they'll take it and i need it for my household

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?: 

I can't get through to them on the phone!!
They made a decision about my appeal without speaking to me and when they rang to tell me, their words were 'well, you'll get the money back from child support'. It's $7,300 overdue, when am I going to get it back?!?!
And they don't care, they've spent more chasing this debt than just understanding what happened, that it wasn't my fault and allowing it to be dropped. It is now sitting with the AAT
