I think it is absolutely ridiculous and greedy that this has happened. Given the fact Centrelink are taking $100 a fortnight out of my Centrelink pay, I really couldn't care less (it's their money anyway, and I earn enough to not have it crippling me). However, it's incredibly wrong that they are also doing this to people who rely solely on their payment. Seems to affect far too many people to just be simple ''accident". I believe this is just an excuse to drain more money from where ever they can

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?: 

Pretty damn poorly, no doubt there are thousands in the same situation I am, between not even realising they have a debt and being docked without their knowledge, or just simply not wanting to bother because Centrelink and the government in general are extremely difficult to deal with and get results from
