This has caused me an enormous amount of stress because I am already struggling to make ends meet. This debt was six years ago. I was reporting my earnings fortnightly and was always on time and honest with the amounts I earned. I have arranged a payment plan of $50 per fortnight which I have already started paying so as not to have the debt collectors calling at my door. I do not want a bad credit rating.
How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:
I think the Government has handled this appallingly. Why are they chasing all the people that are honest when there are thousands of others ripping off the system that keep getting away with it.
