Have only just got this today but I had lost my job yesterday. I am extremely anxious and will have to draw down on Superannuation to make ends meet. We are also looking after my daughters 18 month old son but we are not able to claim allowance for him because she is a single parent struggling herself. The debts have actually come to my wife on disabled benefits. They say they did not take into account redundancy from a previous job and the fact that I got another job then they did not allow for that. BUT they did, her payments were reduced. They were given all the details and because of that redundancy payment and untaken holidays I was unable to claim any benefits for around 12 weeeks. Now they want to take it from us again

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

It is absolutely soul destroying. Lose your job and then the government hounds you for a debt that you do not belive you have. Looks like I may be going to gaol because I could not let my wife go.
