This debt existed from 3 years ago. I was studying at the time while also working as I lived out of home. I was not asked to report income, only was means tested when initially applying. I had no way to fight this debt as I did not keep records of casual employment from 2013, and as it was only over a period of 4 months information from the tax office would be useless.
This came at a horrid time for me, 2016 was savage, car written off, victim of vandalism, and then a centrelink debt, it was a cherry on top of a very expensive cake that has ruined me financially for the next few years.
