I had someone in my family fill out a rental certificate (and sign it as my name!) stating they lived with a "relative".
Centrelink then took this as me not living with family and put me on the away from home rate which I wasn't "entitled to" and am being forced to pay it back now.
They are now claiming I was sent multiple letters (which I'm yet to see) stating that I need to contact them if I move in with a family member.... even though the rental certificate said "relative"!!!
How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:
This is complete extortion and these cases need to be handled with more deligency and care.
