Tell us about your debt and how has this affected you? e.g. anxiety levels, financial and accommodation stress:

My husband got a robo call this morning. There was a threatening recorded message claiming to be from the department of human services and demanding immediate action. That was as much as my husband could hear as it was in a noisy cafe. He clicked on the appropriate menue option as instructed then waited and then was disconnected. We have not received any letters or SMS messages. We are not sure if this is a scammer or an actual Centrelink call. There was no listed number for the caller. It's so typical of their behavior it's impossible to tell. My husband put in a complaint and now we just have to wait. We always report carefully but Centrelink have stuffed up our records so many times, am sick with fear.

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

Centrelink as always been difficult and treated recipients terribly but the lows that have been reached by this Government, the lies and deceit and escalating abuse of the vulnerable and of the principles of democracy and justice appall and terrify me. The fact that my husband and I can't tell if this was a scam call or real says it all.
