Incompetent. I have all of my documentation including pay summaries and bank statements to show when I worked and claimed a Newstart allowance in 2010 and none of this is reflected in the debt generated. I asked for a review, and they have removed approximately $700 off that amount. I still believe this is incorrect, when I receive my paper copy I plan to take this information with my records to the administrative appeals tribunal. I also plan on having the government punished under duty of care provisions in the public governance and accountability Act 2013. This automated collection system was reckless in its measures and did not consider the impact that might have on people who may be wrongly issued with a debt notice.
