In November of 2018 I received a call alerting me to my massive debt. They told me it was 67 thousand but were doing me a favour by reducing it.. don't see how. I have 4 kids, 3 with disabilities and mental challenges and 1 with severe allergies. I am their main carer. I then received a notice to go to court and am told I WILL face time in prison. I tried so hard to fix their stuff up. For the first time in my life I'm suicidal and would rather end my life than do this anymore. I can't get legal aid so as well as paying THEIR DEBT, I'm now paying a lawyer to keep me out of jail. I'm homeless and can't do anything because I have no money.
How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:
The government have been useless. They treat you like a criminal when it's their own doing.
