Receiving the information short of Christmas, and not actually being aware due to work committments and not realising the important need to access the MyGov site (snail mail would have been far more effective!). To receive a 'text' from Probe (how was I to know the importance of this 'text' when I was already flat to the boards, WORKING hard to help bring income into the economy...and a text?? A letter finally arrived in the mail just after New Years claiming I owe $5,287.87. This has escalated anxiety levels on top of balancing work/life and existing financial committments. To be owed a debt 5-7 years ago and to expect a short period (and not just any ordinary period, but the holiday period) to rectify it....
It's all about the money. What about recovering debts from corrupt politicians and anyone else in the sector who splurges on funds that haven't been genuinely fought for with blood, sweat and tears...
