I haven't been on Centrelink in 5 years and I got a letter saying I owed them $3800, I rang them and it apparently stemmed from 2011-2012 when I was studying and doing my Childcare traineeship when I wasn't even getting Centrelink!! They rang me back saying they had made a mistake but I still owed them $2200, I've tried everything even went out of my way to get bank statements proving I wasn't getting paid for them to tell me my employer at the Childcare said I was getting paid from July-July instead of January to December which is the correct time I'd been working. Now I've had to contact my old boss and he hasn't even gotten back to me with the right information, all this hassle for nothing to be done about it, so exhausting and time wasting and they've made me go on a payment plan or they were going to attack my bank account. Everyone I have dealt with has been nothing but I pain and won't even help on how to get out of this unnecessary mess.
