Centrelink has committed fraud - Blocked from action

Debt amount:
$10000
Has your case been referred to a collection agency?:
No
Appealing Debt?:
I don't know how to
Tell us about your debt and how has this affected you? e.g. anxiety levels, financial and accommodation stress:

My family and I were left homeless and left Australia to seek help.
I took Centrelink to the AAT (Tier 2).
The day after Centrelink were notified of this they claim I requested a Centrelink payment.

Their own system rejected this and an officer flagged it for eligibility check (as they should have done).
So then they claim I came into an office to request urgent/immediate payment under hardship.
But - we weren't in the country.

They made the payment - and then raised a debt a week later which they then used to harass us through the entire AAT hearings.
When they were done they simply dismissed it as "administrative error".
It is hardly an admin error when the file specifically says I came into a Centrelink office - twice - on separate days.

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

Centrelink have spent over a year covering up the fraud.
There are potentially multiple commonwealth crimes here - fraud, contempt of the AAT and others.
We have been to everyone - including the Federal Police - and no one will even look at it.
The AFP will only investigate Centrelink matters when Centrelink ask them to.

We cannot afford a lawyer and cannot get legal aid because we no longer live in Australia.
The Commonwealth Ombudsman did acknowledge that something wasn't right - then reverted to saying they do not have the power to investigate further.
Even the Federal Court blocked us until we get a lawyer (which we cannot get - see above).
