The stress of all this debt is not anyone should have to go through. In November 2015 I had lost my job because of my violent ex partner abusing my boss. Start of 2016 I left my ex partner and i took 2 of my 3 kids because I couldn't handle the abuse I was receiving from her. I had taken my 2 kids with me into dv accommodation for 5 days and that was the beginning of centrelink drama. I applied for parenting payment single and FTB. I was on newstart and I had 2 kids to go to school. The drama I had to receive these payments was incredible. Letters from doctors the school where they were enrolled by me statutory declaration from my parents and some other people who knew my situation. The member of parliament got involved after I complained 3 times a week for 4 months. On 24 April 2016 my kids left my care and my payments stopped on 16¹June 2016. For the 22 days that I was overpaid have a debt almost $6000

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

Its appalling that its still continuing with this system/government. Who voted them in..... NOT ME
