Has your case been referred to a collection agency?:
No

Appealing Debt?:
Unknown
Tell us about your debt and how has this affected you? e.g. anxiety levels, financial and accommodation stress:

Stress, spending repeated half days on the phone after working long night shifts, zero consideration to this.
Making work very much harder due to sleep loss.
Being gaslighted repeatedly, supplying requested documentation then told it was not provided at a later date.
Affecting family time due to exhaustion, repeatedly.
Being dismissed routinely.
Basically being abused through constant debt intimidation, threats to cut daughters minimum only payments off repeatedly until the age of 22, single parent trying to make ends meet.
Going through disinterested and ineffectual ombudsman no help, they just repeated Centrelink verbatim.
Long waits adnauseum.
Just all around administrative abuse when being told I had done everything correctly at the time.
Arbitrary corporate/government abuse.

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

Unsurprised, disgusted, skeptical, disappointed, irritated.
Pretty much everything they were attempting to achieve really.

People need to understand their behaviour is nothing short of criminal, without exaggeration. Vile.
