I am a single mum of 3. At the end of 2018 i got a call from centrelink saying i have been over paid over 26,000.00, my head spun not understanding how the goverment could let it get so high. Thinking the goverment would never get something like this so wrong i started to pay it off, then hearing about other people debts that were wrong, i got a reveiw & my debt paused. Today i got the outcome they decided my debt is now over $28,000.00 i broke down crying. I have gone into arreas with my morgage, rates all my house bills, dropped all insurences get panic attacks cant afford to go to the doctors to get repeats for my antidepresants to get a health care plan for counceling.(wont give me a health care card or pension card anymore)
I always prided myself as a hard worker Thought i was reporting right over estimated all the time, told my kids the only way to get in front is to work hard. Jokes on me, im going to loose everything....

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:
