My son was expelled from school and on wait lists for alternatives.
Centrelink system said he was not enrolled in a school so I wasn't eligible.
I was also paying back over 100 per fortnight after a family member previously claimed my carers backdated two years (although I could prove otherwise nobody wanted to know).
With 250 a week I had a car and a thirteen year old boy and 280 was the cheapest rent I could find.
I sold the car.
We lost our rental and with no money we lost our furniture and sentimental things.
Friends lounges were far from ideal and as a single mum in dire straits I was targeted by sleaze bags promising help.
Housing gave me Thurs and Fri night accom and I didn't have capacity to walk 25km my son with a max temp of 43c to the office.
Instead I went to Centrelink who put me through by phone to be told my no show meant back on the street Saturday.
The owners of our acc accused me of entertaining guests and told me I wasn't on holidays being ten minutes past check out with all my worldly belongings.
Meanwhile my employment agency kept reassuring me that my hardship was noted and I was exempt.
A month later after moving to my elderly mum's I was told I was about to be penalized for failing my job requirements the last few months followed by their error of my appointment time and boom.
I've lost everything and stood on the street with a shopping trolley helpless with a hungry child.

How do you feel about the way the Government has handled this process?:

They don't assist.
I have been treated like a criminal and degraded.
The arrogant way staff speak down to me frightens me as they threaten me with punishment for my crime of my partner running away with a barmaid and leaving me with a baby.
